Kangana hits back at Naseeruddin Shah, calls him 'fox', comes out in support of Piyush Mishra

New Delhi. Now actress and MP Kangana Ranaut has also jumped into the ongoing rhetorical dispute between Naseeruddin Shah and Piyush Mishra. Kangana has made a scathing attack on Naseeruddin Shah while supporting Piyush Mishra's statement. She even called Naseeruddin Shah a fox and said that she is proud that she raises her voice for the country whose bread she eats and fights for it when needed. After this comment of Kangana, this controversy related to Bollywood has once again gained momentum.

Actually the whole matter is related to student movements and the alleged silence of the film industry. Naseeruddin Shah had raised questions about Bollywood actors not coming out openly in support of the students during the student protest. He compared the film industry to a dog that has a bone in its mouth and cannot bark. After this comment of Naseeruddin Shah, Piyush Mishra also hit back at him and raised questions about his silence during the student protests in Jharkhand.

Now Kangana Ranaut supported Piyush Mishra's stance on social media and targeted Naseeruddin Shah. Kangana said that in today's time calling someone a dog can also be considered a compliment because dogs are known for their loyalty and innocence. She said that everyone is someone's dog, but she is proud that she speaks for her country and protects it.
Taking aim at Naseeruddin Shah, Kangana further said that Naseer Sahab eats the country's bread but fights for the neighboring country. After this, she compared herself with Naseeruddin Shah and said that she would rather become a dog than a fox like him. There is a possibility of debate on social media regarding this comment of Kangana and people are reacting to this controversy in their own way.
Earlier, Piyush Mishra had also raised questions on Naseeruddin Shah's comments. Referring to the student movement of Jharkhand, he had asked that if some actors of the film industry were not raising their voice in support of the students, then where were the other actors. Based on Naseeruddin Shah's statement of dog and bone, he asked him why he did not come forward to raise his voice when the students were protesting.
Piyush Mishra in his statement had also commented on the priorities of the protesters during the student movements. Referring to the student protests in Delhi and Mumbai, he said that some students were focusing more on pizza and burgers than on the protests. This statement of his also further fueled the controversy.

  • Now after Kangana Ranaut's direct attack on Naseeruddin Shah, the matter seems to be taking a more political and personal color. On one hand, Kangana has made her stand clear on the issue of country and nationalism, on the other hand, the debate is going on regarding Naseeruddin Shah's old comment. There is a possibility of more statements coming out from both sides on this dispute in the coming days.
