Dras. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that ‘Operation Sindoor’ has shown what will be the fate of those who try to threaten India through terrorism. Rajnath Singh also said that India is capable of responding to every misadventure of Pakistan in a manner which is beyond its imagination.

Rajnath Singh, while addressing the program organized at Kargil War Memorial on the 27th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, criticized Pakistan and said that it has made terrorism a part of its government policy.

He said there will be no talks with Pakistan on any issue other than Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which is an integral part of India and which is under illegal occupation by Pakistan.

The Defense Minister described India’s victory in the 1999 Kargil war as “the diamond in the crown of Mother India”. He referred to ‘Operation Sindoor’ launched in May 2025 in response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, 2025. He said that under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian Armed Forces gave a huge blow to the masters of terrorism and their supporters.

Rajnath Singh said, Operation Sindoor has shown what will be the fate of those who try to threaten India through terrorism. He said that India and its armed forces are capable of responding to every misadventure by Pakistan in a manner that is beyond its imagination.

Any malicious step taken against India’s sovereignty and integrity will lead to the same consequences, he said. The Defense Minister said that while India is busy designing ships, Pakistan is busy designing terrorism.

He said, while we are exploring new avenues of innovation, Pakistan is busy exploring new ways of infiltration. Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the success of India’s ‘Operation Vijay’. This was the military operation which was launched to re-take control of the strategic peaks of Kargil after the infiltration of Pakistan and which was successfully concluded on this day in 1999.
