The Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet lineup was originally introduced in 2022. Earlier this year, the fifth generation of this gaming tablet, the Legion Y700, launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
Now the Chinese tech manufacturer is preparing to launch a successor to the fifth-generation Legion Y700. This next version will be known as the Legion Y700 Infinite, and some details have already started making headlines.
Lenovo will launch this version on August 25, 2026, and it’ll bring changes to the fifth generation of the Legion gaming tablet. The latest leak about the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet is its design, while previous details revealed some of its specifications.
Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite Design Revealed
The coming Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite will bring some design changes to the fifth generation. This tablet will be smaller and lighter than the fifth-generation Legion Y700.
Its screen size is rumored to be 8.4 inches, and it is said to weigh approximately 310g. The fifth-generation Lenovo Legion Y700 features an 8.8-inch screen and weighs approximately 360g.
Cameras Remain Relatively Simple
Unlike the fifth-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet, the coming Legion Y700 Infinite gaming tablet will feature an OLED display. This display will maximize screen real estate with slim bezels and a punch-hole camera cutout, as revealed in a leaked image of the device.
The fifth-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet features thicker bezels and an IPS LCD screen. Other design changes compared with the existing fifth-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet are visible on the rear.

Despite coming with a single rear camera like its predecessor, the Legion Y700 Infinite will integrate RGB lighting around the rear camera. It’ll also include a larger “Legion” Logo on the back and a simpler rear design.
The tablet is expected to feature a 50MP rear camera alongside an 8MP front-facing camera.
Other Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite Gaming Tablet Specifications
Lenovo has confirmed some specifications for this gaming tablet, while others have been revealed via leaks. Lenovo has confirmed the processor, storage, and screen size.
For its processor, Lenovo has confirmed that this gaming tablet will feature an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. According to available reports, this device, with its overclocked processor, has scored 4,585,844 on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Storage on this upcoming tablet is expected to be 12GB/24GB worth of LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB/1TB worth of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. Its 8.4-inch OLED screen has also been revealed to support a 165Hz refresh rate and 3400Hz touch sampling, both being ideal for gaming.
For its battery, the Lenovo gaming tablet is expected to launch with a 7470 mAh battery and support 68 W fast charging. Lenovo will keep things simple with this device’s camera specs, with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front-facing camera.
Internal Cooling To Be Expected
Housing an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, Lenovo is expected to provide internal cooling on this coming gaming tablet. Sources have already revealed that the tablet will support the Lenovo CR7 Supreme Cooler Kit to help reduce overheating during use.
However, Lenovo may also have built a cooling system into this coming gaming tablet. This tablet is expected to use a 15,000 mm² vapor chamber, which is smaller than the one on the fifth-generation Legion Y700 gaming tablet.
