Liquor: Poisonous liquor wreaked havoc, 14 people died

Liquor : A major accident has come to light due to drinking of poisonous liquor in Banda area of ​​Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. The health of more than 100 local people suddenly deteriorated after consuming liquor sold illegally on Saturday night. There was a stir in the area after the condition of many people became critical. As soon as information about the incident was received, local people and administration became active.

14 people died during treatment in hospitals

The sick people were immediately taken to Banda Civil Hospital. Serious patients were also admitted to Bundelkhand Medical College, Sagar for better treatment. However, the condition of many people continued to deteriorate during treatment and so far 14 people have died. Post-mortem of the dead bodies is being conducted as per the rules in the presence of officials.

Senior officials started investigation

After this painful incident, many senior officials including District Collector Pratibha Pal and Superintendent of Police Anurag Sujania took the matter seriously. Officials have inspected the spot and ordered a detailed investigation to find out the source of the poisonous liquor. To prevent such incidents in future, a comprehensive investigation and raid campaign is also being conducted by the administration.
