Muzaffarnagar: There was an uproar in Muzaffarnagar after a live cow and a dead calf were found in a vehicle near Bamanhedi bridge on Sunday. Shiv Sena workers stopped the vehicle and caught the two youths traveling in it. After a dead calf was found in the vehicle, the activists suspected cow slaughter and lodged a complaint with the police demanding action. On receiving the information, cow servant Nishu also reached the spot.

Actually, at around 11 am on Sunday morning, train number UP 12 BT 3565 was stopped by Shiv Sena workers near Bamanhedi bridge. On searching the vehicle, a live cow and a dead calf were found in it. After this, Shiv Sena workers caught both the youths traveling in the car.
Both the youths were identified as residents of Kidwai Nagar of Khalapar.

Shiv Sena workers complain to police, demand action
Shiv Sena team's Ankur Tyagi along with his colleagues Satyam Pradhan and Vikas Thakur submitted a complaint letter to the police. He demanded strict legal action against both the youth. Everyone reached Roorkee Road police post with the captured vehicle, where the last rites of the dead cow were performed by cow servant Nishu.
After the complaint, the police started investigating the case.
At present a written complaint has been given at Roorkee police post. The police is investigating the case. Suspicion of cow slaughter has been raised in the case of cow and dead calf being found in the vehicle.
