The latest case is related to Bhilai in Madhya Pradesh. On receiving the complaint, the local police has busted the prostitution going on under the guise of a spa center in Bhilai. On the spot, the police have arrested 9 people including the manager and a female broker in a series of actions. For a long time, complaints were being received about prostitution racket running under the guise of spa center in Bhilai. After this, recently the police took action in Lee Wellness Spa Center located in Junwani area of Bhilai and exposed the prostitution racket running under the guise of the spa centre. According to Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Mani Shankar Chandra, based on the complaint, Smriti Nagar Police formed a team and raided and as soon as they entered inside, a shocking sight was seen. Many young men and women were found inside in objectionable condition.
During this raid, the police arrested a total of 9 accused including the manager of the spa center and the female broker. The manager used to provide girls. Tanay Soni, the manager of the spa center, used to provide girls to the customers for prostitution by taking money. At the same time, female broker Hema Singh alias Preet used to provide girls to Tanay Soni for this entire racket. During the raid, police seized evidence of large-scale illegal activities from the spa centre. Police have seized a total of 19 mobile phones, cash amount of Rs 1900 received from customers and a huge amount of objectionable material from the spa center. Who all got arrested? Apart from the accused, some customers and other concerned persons were also present at the spot during the police raid. From the spot, Tanay Soni (23), Hema Singh alias Preet (22), Rupendra Janghel (39), Hrithik Soni (26), Dinendra Kumar Soni (29), Hemant Sinha (28), Avinash Sharma alias Abhi (32). Anand Kumar (31) and Arun Pandey (24) have been arrested by the police. Police are also searching for other people associated with this network, because complaints have been received that illegal prostitution racket is spread on a large scale.
