Mahindra XUV 3XO Electric SUV Deliveries Finally Commence: Video
Mahindra launched the electric version of the XUV 3XO earlier this year. The electric SUV’s bookings had also started soon after that. Deliveries were expected to start from February, but it looks like the plans got delayed for some reason. The 3XO EV has now finally started reaching dealerships, and it looks like deliveries have also begun. Here we have a video of a couple taking delivery of their brand-new 3XO EV.
The video has been shared by Virangwood on their YouTube channel as a vertical video. In this video, we see a woman getting out of a car and walking into a Mahindra dealership. Her partner is waiting at the dealership and welcomes her as she enters. It looks like the car was a gift to the girl seen in the video here.
She enters the dealership, and soon the couple is welcomed by the dealership staff. They finish the documentation part, and once that is done, they all walk towards the car. The car is unveiled, and the family celebrates the occasion too.
We see the dealership staff handing over the keys, and after that, the couple drives the car out. In the end, we see the woman standing out of the sunroof of the EV, and it should be noted that we do not recommend doing that at all. It is extremely dangerous, and if you do it on public roads, cops can actually issue a fine as well.
Unlike other Mahindra EVs, the XUV 3XO EV is not a born-electric vehicle. It is based on the ICE 3XO. In fact, it is an updated version of the XUV 400 that was available in the market. Mahindra is offering the XUV 3XO EV in AX5 and AX7L variants. As per the video, the SUV seen here is the AX5.
The exterior design of the SUV is similar to the ICE version, with EV-specific changes like a closed grille, revised alloy wheels, EV badging, and bronze inserts to differentiate it from the regular version.
In terms of features, the 3XO EV comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a same-size driver display. It also gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with onboard navigation, all-LED lighting, dual-zone climate control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, auto headlamps and wipers, a wireless charger, 6 airbags, ESP, and cruise control. While the lower variant gets a regular sunroof, the higher variant gets a panoramic sunroof, leatherette upholstery, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, ADAS, and more.
It is available with a 39.4 kWh battery pack only. It sends power to the front wheels and generates 150 hp and 310 Nm of peak torque. This is the same as the older XUV 400, which was slightly bigger than the 3XO EV. The electric SUV has a claimed driving range of 456 km. It can do 0–100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and supports DC fast charging of up to 50 kW.

Prices for the XUV 3XO start at Rs 13.89 lakh, ex-showroom, and go all the way up to Rs 14.96 lakh, ex-showroom. Mahindra is working on the Vision S, and an electric version of this sub-4-meter SUV might replace the XUV 3XO in the coming years.
