New Delhi. A big news is coming from Balochistan of Pakistan. There has been a major attack on security forces in Lasbela district of Balochistan. More than 23 army personnel are reported to have been killed in this attack. It is being told that this attack took place on N-25 National Highway, where Pakistani Army soldiers were going. If reports are to be believed, the blast was targeted at an army convoy.

The attack is being blamed on the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). This organization has been increasing attacks on security forces, government buildings and roadways in Balochistan for the last several months. BLA has been claiming that its fighters are targeting Pakistani security forces.
At the same time, after this incident, the security forces have intensified the search operation in the area. The injured are being treated at Bela camp and the road has been completely closed. However, no official statement has been issued by Pakistan regarding this attack. In such a situation, the number of deaths may increase or decrease.
Let us tell you that Lasbela N-25 is one of the most important roads of Balochistan. The highway connects Karachi to Quetta and passes through several strategic areas of the province. Security convoys, common passengers and commercial vehicles also travel through this route. Lasbela is considered quite close to Karachi.
