Mamata Banerjee’s roar after Bengal defeat… This election is not defeat, it is murder of democracy, we will fight back like a tiger.
digital desk- After the results of West Bengal Assembly elections, the politics of the state has come to a boil. Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has completely rejected the election results, calling it ‘theft of mandate’. While speaking to the media on Monday, Mamata Banerjee made a serious allegation that she has not lost the elections, but votes on 100 seats have been looted in a planned manner. He described this entire process as ‘black history’ (dark chapter) of Indian democratic history.
“The fight was not with BJP, but with the biased Election Commission”
Mamata Banerjee made a direct attack on the Election Commission and said that this time her fight was not only with BJP but also with the biased attitude of the Election Commission. He alleged that the Commission was working at the behest of Delhi. Mamata said, “Democracy has been murdered. Only after the two phases of voting, our workers started being arrested and impartial officers were transferred. They brought bureaucrats of their choice so that the elections could be influenced.” The Chief Minister also claimed tampering with EVMs and ‘hijacking’ the counting centres. He said that the results were forcibly changed by rigging the counting centres.
“Pushed out of the booth, behaved like this with women?”
While narrating her ordeal, Mamata Banerjee said in an emotional tone that despite being a woman Chief Minister, she was misbehaved at the booth. She alleged, “I was pushed out of the booth. When they can behave like this with a woman leader like me, then one can imagine what will be the condition of the general public and workers.” He also said that like Maharashtra and Haryana, a conspiracy was hatched in Bengal too, but TMC soldiers fought like ‘Tigers’.
Mamta in action mode: 10 member ‘finding committee’ will be formed
Instead of accepting defeat, Mamata Banerjee has now announced an all-out fight. He announced that TMC will form a 10-member special investigation committee. This committee will visit various affected areas of the state and collect evidence of vote looting and atrocities on workers. “Our party offices are being occupied and workers are being targeted, which we will not tolerate,” Mamata said. Mamta Banerjee said that all the leaders of ‘India’ alliance are in contact with her. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Uddhav Thackeray and Hemant Soren have spoken to him and expressed their support. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is also reaching Kolkata on Tuesday. Mamta made it clear that she will not remain silent against this injustice and will soon reveal a new strategy. Giving a message to the international community, he said that democracy is being strangled in India, but we will ‘bounce back’ with full strength.
