Under the Chief Minister Mass Marriage Scheme run by the Social Welfare Department, a grand mass marriage ceremony was organized at Janata Inter College, Rudapur Sahaso on Saturday. In the ceremony, the marriage of a total of 92 newlyweds was solemnized with all the rituals and traditional customs. An atmosphere of enthusiasm, gaiety and social harmony was seen during the entire event.
In the programme, a total of 92 couples, including 15 couples from development block Phulpur, 31 from Bahria, 24 from Bahadurpur and 22 from Sahas, tied the knot and started their new life. After the marriage, all the newly married couples were also provided gift items prescribed by the government, so that the beginning of their new life could be smooth.
Block chief Sahaso Geeta Singh and other public representatives and guests present as the chief guest at the ceremony blessed the newlyweds and wished them a happy, prosperous and prosperous married life.
