Tezzbuzz Desk– Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has made her stand clear regarding familyism in the party. He said that his younger brother Anand Kumar's two sons, Akash and Ishaan, will not be given the responsibility of any small or big political post in BSP. However, he has not ruled out the possibility of Anand Kumar's daughter Kumari Deepika Anand being given responsibility in the party in future.
Mayawati posted on social media platform He said that like Kanshi Ram, he also confined his family members to party work and kept them away from the post of MP, MLA, minister or any other position of political gain.
What did Mayawati say about Deepika Anand?
Mayawati told that her younger brother Anand Kumar has been taking care of her as well as party responsibilities for a long time. He said that Anand Kumar's daughter Deepika is currently studying law. In future, if she has to help her father, she can do so.
According to Mayawati, considering Deepika's honesty, loyalty and efficiency, she can be given responsibility as per need in the party in future. However, he also clarified that if Deepika is not ready to take up the responsibility, the role can be handed over to some other dedicated Dalit worker with the consensus of the party.
Clear stance even on the return of expelled leaders
Mayawati also rejected the news related to the return of expelled leaders from BSP. Terming such reports as fake news, he said that leaders expelled due to indiscipline or anti-party activities will not be taken back.
Mayawati said that her aim is to keep BSP free from nepotism. He made it clear that the responsibility of the party will not be limited to any one family and dedicated workers will be given the opportunity to move forward in the organization.
