Mercury will cross 40 from Delhi to UP-Bihar, Meteorological Department issued heat alert

The effects of heat are becoming visible across the country. The heat is troubling people from North to South India. There was slight respite from the heat in some states of North India till yesterday, but today most of the states may be in the grip of heat wave. According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heat wave in most of the states of North India today. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain along with thunderstorm in 10 states.

 

Like all other states of North India, the capital Delhi will also see an increase in temperature from today. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain tomorrow. People will have to suffer due to heat. Today the minimum temperature in Delhi can reach 23 degrees Celsius. There are signs of further increase in temperature in the coming days. Today the sky will be mainly clear and no warning has been issued.

Heat wave in UP-Bihar

Heat is wreaking havoc in Uttar Pradesh. Most parts of the state are going to be hit by heat wave in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will be above normal in many cities including Agra, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Sultanpur, Barabanki, Bahraich, Shahjahanpur and Hardoi. There are indications of extreme heat in Uttar Pradesh in the coming days.

 

There was relief from the heat in Bihar for the last few days due to western disturbance, but now this relief is ending. Today the sky will be clear and the sun will shine in most of the districts of Bihar. Its direct effect will be visible on the temperature. The heat left people in distress in 11 districts including Patna. There are signs of continuous increase in heat in the month of April.

 

Heat wave alert in these states

According to the official website of the Meteorological Department, there is a severe heat alert in many states of the country today. There is a possibility of heat wave in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert regarding this and has appealed to the people to be cautious.

It will rain in these states

Weather activities are likely to continue over the states of Northeast India on April 21. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh. Assam and Meghalaya may also experience heavy rains along with thunderstorms and strong winds. Along with this, a warning of light to moderate rain along with lightning has also been issued in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. No rain alert has been issued in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir today, but a new western disturbance is going to become active on April 23, due to which the possibility of rain becomes stronger.
