Lucknow. A very surprising case has come to light from Bakshi Ka Talab area of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The 28-year-old woman, who was considered dead by her family members and was cremated 28 months ago, suddenly returned alive to her maternal home on 5 September 2026. Seeing the woman in front, there was a commotion in the entire village and the family members were left in tears.

What is the whole matter?
According to information received from sources, the name of this woman who returned home again is Shivani. She was married to Anand Singh in the year 2020. Due to mutual differences, Shivani suddenly went missing from home on 2 May 2024. On the complaint of family members, the police registered a missing case and started investigation.
Dead body was found in the drain, case was registered against in-laws
About two months after this woman went missing, on July 16, 2024, the decomposed body of an unidentified woman was recovered from a drain near IIM Road. Shivani's parents recognized her as their daughter on the basis of the bracelet and ring tied on her hand. After this incident, the police did the Panchnama of the body and handed it over to the family members. After this, the family members also performed his last rites at Bhainsakund crematorium. The parents had filed a case of dowry death against Shivani's husband and in-laws.

Secret revealed by DNA report and Shivani's statement
According to the police, at the time the body was found, samples were sent for DNA testing. Later in the DNA report it was revealed that the body was not that of Shivani. After this, the police had removed the sections of dowry death from the FIR, which brought great relief to the in-laws. After Shivani suddenly returned alive on September 5, when the police interrogated her, the whole matter became clear. Shivani told that she had left the house of her own free will and was living with a young man named Javed in Para area of Lucknow. On Javed's persuasion, she returned to her maternal home after so many months.
Now the biggest question before the police
However, with the safe return of Shivani, the mystery of her survival has been solved, but now a new and bigger question has arisen in front of the Lucknow Police. The police have now started investigating that if Shivani is alive, then whose body was found in the drain and which was cremated? Police are investigating the case afresh to identify the unknown woman.
