‘My Diabetes Increased And…’: Sunita Ahuja reveals why she quit ‘Lock Upp 2’

Mumbai: Sunita Ahuja has revealed that she voluntarily exited the reality show Lock Upp 2: Sach Ya Sazaa after her diabetes levels rose significantly, making it difficult for her to continue in the competition.

Speaking about her departure, Sunita said her exit was driven entirely by health concerns and not because she felt she was losing control of the game. She maintained that she was prepared to stay longer and participate more actively had her condition remained stable.

Health Concerns Ended Her Journey

Sunita said she never felt that the competition was slipping out of her hands. However, her diabetes worsened during her stay inside the show, forcing her to prioritize her well-being.

She explained that she could have played a stronger game but had no option other than leaving once her health began deteriorating.

Why Sunita Avoided Major Conflicts

Known for her outspoken and fearless personality, Sunita was also asked whether she had held herself back inside the reality show.

She said she entered the show with the image of someone likely to create conflicts. However, the younger contestants treated her with affection and took care of her, which changed her approach.

Sunita felt that fighting with contestants who were supportive of her could have created a negative impression and led viewers to misunderstand her behaviour.
