Vrindavan: The district administration has intensified preparations regarding Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival and possible/proposed program of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On Monday, District Magistrate Chandra Prakash Singh and Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar inspected Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple and surrounding areas in Vrindavan.
Took stock of major routes
The officials took stock of the major roads, streets and entry and exit points leading to the temple complex. During this, the arrangements were inspected while giving priority to the convenience of the devotees, tourists, visitors and pilgrims.
DM and SSP took information from the concerned officials regarding crowd management, traffic, security, cleanliness and easy movement of devotees. He directed that the devotees coming in large numbers during the Janmashtami festival should not face any kind of problem and the security arrangements in the temple area should be kept tight.
Emphasis on improving the systems
During the inspection, emphasis was laid on improving the necessary arrangements in the roads and streets connecting the temple. Necessary instructions were given to the officials to keep the entry and exit system organized and to control the crowd pressure.
Asked to complete all arrangements on time
The District Magistrate asked the concerned departments to complete all the arrangements on time with mutual coordination. At the same time, the SSP instructed the police officers to take special vigilance regarding security and traffic arrangements.
According to administrative officials, a large number of devotees from India and abroad are likely to reach Vrindavan during the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival. In such a situation, the focus of the administration is on ensuring safe, easy and systematic darshan system.
