Link became Sikar’s counselor

From Ramgarh the paper reached Rakesh Kumar Mandawariya of Sikar. Rakesh works as MBBS counseling agent outside big coaching institutes. From here the paper spread through one-to-one network to the coaching centers of Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Kerala and Uttarakhand. A student from Nagaur came to Sikar four days before the examination on May 3, 2026 and paid Rs 28 lakh for the paper. During interrogation he told that he had received a call from Delhi that "the paper has arrived".

The secret of the network was revealed due to greed

There are total 180 questions in NEET. Investigation revealed that 45 questions of Chemistry were in the same order as they were in the actual paper. Even commas and full stops were not changed.

Complaint reached IB from NTA

After knowing the truth, the PG operator went to Udyog Nagar police station in Sikar, but the police dismissed it as a rumour. After this he informed NTA. NTA informed the Intelligence Bureau and IB alerted Rajasthan Police. SOG started investigation and detained 15 people including the PG operator. Raids were also conducted in Dehradun and Jhunjhunu. MBBS counselor Rakesh is also in custody.
