In the video, one person is seen pulling the body towards himself with the help of wood, while the other is seen holding the woman’s hair and removing an earring from her ear.

It has been claimed in the social media post that the earring in the woman’s ear was of gold. In the video, both the persons leave from there after removing the earring. Some people present nearby are seen watching or recording this incident with mobile phones.

People got angry after watching the video

After the video surfaced, there is tremendous anger among people on social media. Many users called it an embarrassment to humanity. Some people raised the question that how could one have the courage to do such a thing with a dead person. One user responded and wrote that this is like ‘the climax of Kaliyuga’ and humanity is dead long ago. Another user wrote that he was extremely upset after seeing such an incident and asked whether humans had become so insensitive.

Another user also expressed displeasure over the fact that none of the people present nearby allegedly tried to stop the person. Referring to an accident in his family, a user said that even after his death in a road accident, someone had stolen his relative’s ring.

Large number of people missing amid natural disaster

The impact of this disaster in Nepal is not limited to infrastructure only. A large number of local people as well as tourists and travelers from other countries have been affected. According to the updated list of Nepal Tourism Board released on Wednesday, 644 tourists and travelers have been reported missing. These people include citizens of 33 countries. According to the report, the number of Indian citizens is the highest among those reported missing. The list includes 178 Indians, 127 Nepalese, 65 Americans and 53 Ukrainian citizens.

At a time when relief and rescue teams are busy saving lives and searching for missing people, the incident shown in the viral video has raised serious questions about humanity and sensitivity amid the disaster. At present, relief and rescue operations are going on in Nepal and information about the situation is continuously emerging from the affected areas.
