Three more Indians were rescued in the last 24 hours from the devastated Trishuli market in Nepal. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal posted the good news on the X handle on Friday night. He said that 169 Indians have been rescued so far. The number of missing is 275. They are being searched. Meanwhile, Nepal's former Prime Minister KP Oli made quite depressing comments about the death toll. According to him, many lives have been lost in the twin disaster of Harpa Ban and glacial lake breaking.

Their names are Abhijit Suresh Pawar, Deepika Abhijit Pawar and Samarth Abhijit Pawar. It is believed that the three are members of the same family. On August 26, this Trishuli market was first washed away by Harpa Ban. However, they have somehow managed to save their lives so far. Randhir Jaiswal said in the post that the Nepal Embassy is being contacted 24 hours a day for updates. Those who are still missing, the information is being reported as soon as there is any trace of them. Besides, New Delhi is also providing relief aid to Nepal, which is cursed by nature.

Meanwhile, Nepal's former prime minister KP Sharma Oli, visiting the devastated areas on Friday, told the media, “It seems very few people are missing. But it is not possible to understand who has been swept away by the bunch of Harpa buns. I fear, many people are no more. Many bodies were found in Chitwan. Many people were found dead on the Indian border as well. They all floated and reached so far. There is very little hope of survival.” So far, nearly 1300 bodies have been recovered in Nepal. Oli also reminded, “This is a very small part of the glacier that has broken off. A big rock can collapse at any time. If we are not careful from now, we cannot even imagine how big a disaster is going to come.”
