New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a big claim in the investigation of the blast that took place on 10 November 2025 near the Red Fort in Delhi. According to the agency’s charge sheet, the blast was a suicide attack and accused Umar Un Nabi (A-1) was present in the same car in which the IED was planted at the time of the blast. NIA alleges that Omar had activated the explosive through a special command system.
During the investigation, the agency examined several materials related to the ideology, network and activities of the alleged terrorist module. According to the NIA, people associated with the module were influenced by radical ideas and were preparing for violent activities. The recovered documents are claimed to contain information related to planning of attacks, operational activities and evading security agencies.
Suspicious manual also mentioned
The charge sheet mentions a pocket book titled ‘How to become a killer’. According to NIA, this document is said to be related to AQAP i.e. Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. The agency alleges that it contained explosives, weapons, IEDs and material related to covert operations.
The investigating agency has also claimed that in the recovered propaganda material, an attempt was made to link violence and armed conflict with religious ideology. The chargesheet also mentions alleged content promoting violent struggle against democratic systems. It has been accused of justifying violence through concepts like ‘Jihad’ and ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’.
Claims related to preparations for the attack
According to the NIA, the documents also mentioned strategies such as concealment of identity, adopting fake identities, avoiding surveillance by security agencies and conducting activities in a clandestine manner. The chargesheet also mentions alleged operational strategies related to lone wolf and suicide attacks.
The agency has also focused its investigation on the role of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) module in this case. The NIA has tried to connect the links of the alleged network on the basis of recovered material and other evidence. However, the allegations made in the charge sheet are still part of the judicial process. The final decision on these allegations will be taken only on the basis of hearing and evidence in the court.
