According to the official website of Indian Oil, the country’s largest gas utility, this “Chhotu” cylinder has been specifically introduced for those who don’t have a valid local address or who use very little gas. Customers can obtain a new “Chhotu” gas connection by simply providing a simple identification proof. Its biggest advantage is that it eliminates the need for a large-scale connection, and customers can easily use “Chhotu” gas cylinders in any city across the country, as per their convenience.
Where can it be easily found and what are the rules?
Customers can easily purchase this small gas cylinder from a large network of Indane distributorships, IndianOil retail outlets, select grocery stores, and reputable supermarkets. Refills can also be easily obtained at any authorized sales outlet or distributorship across the country.
If you purchase this small cylinder from any of these outlets, you will receive a refund upon return. According to the IndianOil website, a fixed refund of ₹500 per cylinder is provided, regardless of the expiry date. When was the domestic LPG price hike?
Domestic LPG cylinder prices were last increased by ₹29 per cylinder on June 7. Prior to this, prices were increased by ₹60 per cylinder in March due to the disruption in gas supply due to the ongoing crisis in West Asian countries and rising energy prices in the international market.
