New Delhi, 4 May. After the historic victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections, there was an atmosphere of celebration at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in the national capital on Monday evening. During this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the party workers, said that now there should be talk of change rather than revenge. He also said that this is the beginning of a new era for the state.
PM Modi, who arrived at the BJP headquarters wearing the traditional attire of Bengal men i.e. white kurta and Tasar silk dhoti, said in his address that this mandate is a decisive step towards a fear-free, development and trust-filled Bengal. Referring to the dreams of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, he said that now the wait of decades is over and the public has given the BJP the opportunity to realize that vision.
‘Development in Bengal, ‘New era of security and employment’, strict action against infiltrators also
PM Modi assured and said, ‘A journey towards the future of Bengal is beginning, where development, unwavering faith and new hopes will move forward step by step. Today I assure every Bengali, BJP will work day and night for the better future of Bengal. Now women will get an environment of security in Bengal, youth will get employment, migration will stop. Ayushman Bharat scheme will be given the green signal in the first cabinet itself and strictest action will be taken against infiltrators.

Congress, Sisters and daughters punished TMC and DMK
On this occasion, PM Modi did not miss to target opposition parties including Congress on the pretext of women’s reservation. He said, ‘Another important pillar of building a developed India is the women power of India. Women power is now moving forward rapidly in building a developed India. But Congress and its allies have tried to stop this momentum of women power a few days ago. These anti-women parties did not allow the Nari Shakti Vandan Amendment to be passed in the Parliament and that is why I had said a few days ago that such parties opposing women’s reservation will have to face the wrath of women. Today Congress, TMC and DMK have been punished by sisters and daughters.
Samajwadi Party will have to bear the anger of women of Uttar Pradesh
The Prime Minister said that the Samajwadi Party, which has stopped women’s reservation in Parliament, will also have to face the anger of the women of Uttar Pradesh. The anti-women Samajwadi Party will not be able to wash away its sins by doing anything.
No fear for the first time in West Bengal, democracy won
PM Modi said, ‘These elections of Bengal have been very special for another reason. You remember, what kind of news used to come during Bengal elections. Violence, fear and deaths of innocent people. But this time the whole country heard a new news. Peaceful voting took place in West Bengal. It happened for the first time that not a single innocent citizen lost his life in election violence. In this great festival of democracy, it was not the sound of guns but the voice of the public that resonated. For the first time there is no fear, democracy has won.

The country needs development not conflict, We need trust, not division.
He said that today every state of the country wants to move forward by working with each other and not by fighting with each other. These elections have also made this message very clear. The three governments in Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala which were ousted from power by the people had a common identity, the politics of division. This was his identity. His politics was not to unite, but to break. Sometimes controversies were created in the name of language, sometimes attempts were made to divide the society over eating habits, sometimes even people of their own country were called outsiders, but the people of India have given a clear answer to this politics. The country has told that it wants development not dispute, it wants trust not division.”

There should be talk of future, not change, change and fear.
PM Modi further said, ‘I also want to make a request to every political party of Bengal. Countless lives have been ruined due to political violence in Bengal in the last decades. I clearly believe that there should be a change in the electoral habits prevalent in Bengal from today onwards. He said that today when BJP has won, there should be talk of change, not change. There should be no fear, it should be about the future.
This endless cycle of violence must be ended forever
Prime Minister Modi appealed to the workers of all political parties and said that this endless cycle of violence should be ended forever. He said that one should rise above who voted for whom and who did not vote and work for the service of Bengal.
