Modi told the MPs that there is a wealth of material on history in Parliament. They should use it to prepare for discussions on various issues and work for the development of their respective states. The Prime Minister said that the country will develop only if the states progress. He said that we stand with all the constituent parties of the NDA. Seven Shiv Sena MPs and 20 National Citizens Party of India (NCPI) MPs were present in this meeting with Modi. It should be noted that recently, six MPs from Shiv Sena UBT joined the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena. Meanwhile, 20 TMC MPs merged with the National Citizens Party of India and announced their support to the NDA.

During this meeting, the Prime Minister met privately with NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) leader Parth Pawar. The Prime Minister inquired about the health of his mother and also asked about the health of Maharashtra Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar. After meeting PM Modi, NCPI MP Rachna Banerjee said, “It was a very productive conversation. It was truly an honor that the Prime Minister invited us. Even spending two minutes with PM Modi is a big deal for us.”
