Storyteller Aniruddhacharya Maharaj openly expressed his opinion in a news channel program on issues like karma, free politics, love affairs of youth, marriage and increasing violence in relationships. He said that hard work is necessary for success in life and the habit of getting everything for free can prevent a person from becoming self-reliant.

Aniruddhacharya said that today the trend of getting everything for free is increasing in the society, people want facilities without doing any hard work. He said that karma is important, if you don't do karma then what will you eat? He also raised questions on the politics of free facilities and said that if a person keeps getting everything without hard work, then his ability to work may become weak. Giving the example of children, he said that if a small child is not allowed to walk and is supported all the time, then how will his legs become strong? The child will fall, get up and walk again, only then will his legs gain strength. Aniruddhacharya said that similarly a person should also get the opportunity to struggle and work hard in life. Constantly relying on freebies can make a person dependent on others instead of becoming self-reliant.
Youth advised to avoid love affairs and concentrate on studies
Talking about the love affairs of the youth, he said that at the age of studying and making a career, the youth should not let their attention get diverted, he also narrated the example of a young man who came to him, the young man told that after listening to Aniruddhacharya, he ended his love affair, because his attention was getting diverted from studies.
Aniruddhacharya said that before getting into such relationships, the youth should understand whether the other person really loves them or is with them for some selfish reason. He appealed to the youth to focus on studies, hard work and career. Although he clarified that it is not right to interfere in the relationship between husband and wife, he said that he is not in favor of divorce between husband and wife and no outsider should interfere in the marital relationship.

'The character should be kept pure before and after marriage'
In the context of marriage and love relationships, Aniruddhacharya said that a person should be conscious of his character. According to him, after marriage, disputes may arise due to the old relationships of the husband or wife, hence the youth should understand the seriousness and responsibility regarding the relationships. He said that the youth should also keep in mind the dreams and expectations of their parents. Parents send children to study and build their future, so children should focus on their studies and career.
'To stop increasing violence, it is necessary to impart values to both sons and daughters'
When asked about the murders happening these days in matters related to love affairs and marriage, Aniruddhacharya said that the increasing violence in the society should not be seen only from the perspective of women or men. He said that in the past some men tortured women and incidents like burning of women in the name of dowry also took place. Now if women are committing violence somewhere then violence cannot be the answer.
According to Aniruddhacharya, to stop violence and atrocities in the society, parents will have to impart values to both their sons and daughters, sons will have to be taught to respect women and daughters will have to respect men. Connecting it to the two wheels of the car, he said that the car will move forward only when both the wheels are balanced. It is important to understand the rights, respect and responsibilities of both men and women in society.

On the different and difficult questions that come up in his stories, Aniruddhacharya said that many people of the society do not get a proper platform to share their problems and questions. He said that when people are unable to express their feelings to anyone, the burden on their mind increases, people share their joys, sorrows and personal problems in his stories and they try to answer them on the basis of their understanding and the knowledge received from their teachers. He said that he tries to listen to the people and show them the right direction.
Aniruddhacharya had a positive opinion regarding social media, he said that social media has given a platform to people to express their views. According to him, earlier one had to find someone to express their views, but now through social media people can directly convey their views to others. He said that social media is good because at least people get a chance to express their views and share their problems.
Aniruddhacharya said about Manusmriti and Ramcharitmanas that whatever you like in any scripture, you should accept it and whatever you don't like, you should leave it. Giving the example of Kabir's couplet, he said that instead of finding faults in others, one should look within oneself. According to him, it is not wrong to question anything of Sanatan, but it is not appropriate to reject any religious text without reading or understanding its correct interpretation.
He also said that tolerance and mutual respect is necessary in the society, according to him, instead of making unnecessary comments towards any religion or community, everyone should understand their own shortcomings and goodness. He stressed that we should adopt whatever we like and leave what we think is wrong, but before forming an opinion on any topic, it is important to understand it.
