Temporary relief
Through long-term initiatives like 'Project Mana' with CISF, Empower has developed an institutional approach that combines awareness, timely diagnosis, counselling, capacity building and availability of professional help. This experience has illustrated that it is important that mental health becomes an integral and sustainable part of the support ecosystem for soldiers rather than being limited to providing temporary relief in times of crisis. Building on this experience, Empower's 'Project Nirmal' is the first step in Empower's pan-India approach to systematically strengthen the mental health and well-being of frontline workers and their families, who play a vital role in protecting society and the nation.
