So far four people have lost their lives in a building accident in East Delhi's Seemapuri area (Delhi Accident). Among the dead, the bodies of 21-year-old Gulafsha, 56-year-old Haja Bibi, 33-year-old Nusra and a four-year-old boy have been recovered by the rescue team. Meanwhile, the identity of the child is yet to be ascertained.
According to Delhi Police, parts of the body and human remains were recovered from the debris during the rescue operation. They too have not been identified yet. They have to be identified through DNA.

An FIR has been lodged in the Seemapuri Police Station on October 8 under specific sections of the Act in connection with this incident. The police are thoroughly investigating the matter. The cause of the collapse of the building is also being investigated.
According to officials, the rescue operation at the spot has now been completely stopped. The remains recovered from the debris have now been sent for forensic examination and verification of other aspects.

Seven lives were saved
Meanwhile, a five-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Seemapuri area on Wednesday. Talking to a news agency, Shahdara Police Commissioner Rajendra Prasad Meena said that so far the rescue team has managed to save the lives of seven people.
Earlier, North East Delhi Collector Ajay Kumar told reporters that according to preliminary information, the building collapsed between 3 pm and 3.15 pm on Wednesday. We received a call at 3.25, giving location and video information.
