Bureau Prayagraj. Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has got a big relief from Allahabad High Court. The petition demanding registration of FIR against him was rejected.
Petitioner Simran Gupta had challenged the decision of the trial court Sambhal in Allahabad High Court. Simran Gupta had filed a suit in the Sambhal Trial Court to register an FIR against Rahul Gandhi on the basis of his statements regarding the Indian state. The trial court’s order dismissing the case was challenged in the High Court. The High Court rejected the petition challenging the decision of the Sambhal Trial Court.
Chandausi Court of Sambhal had rejected the monitoring petition filed by the petitioner against MP Rahul Gandhi as it was weak. Simran Gupta had filed a petition in Allahabad High Court challenging the decision given by Additional District and Sessions Judge Chandausi Court.
On January 15, 2025, during the inauguration of the new Congress headquarters ‘Indira Bhawan’, Rahul Gandhi had said, “Our fight is with the RSS, the BJP and the Indian State itself.” He had said, “Our ideology, like the ideology of the RSS, is thousands of years old and we have been fighting the ideology of the RSS for thousands of years.
Don’t think that we are fighting a fair fight. There is no fairness in this. If you think that we are fighting with some political organization called BJP or RSS then you have not understood the situation properly. BJP and RSS have captured every institution of our country. Now we are fighting the BJP, the RSS and the Indian state itself.”
