Railway line will be laid on this route in UP, good news for these districts
Lucknow.Railways is preparing to lay the fourth railway line on the Barabanki-Gorakhpur route, which is one of the busiest railway routes in the North-Eastern region. After the completion of this project, passengers are expected to get the benefit of fast, smooth and timely rail service.
Preparation of 425 kilometer long project
According to media reports, the survey work of about 425 km long fourth railway line for this important railway project has been completed. At present, the construction work of the third railway line from Burhwal to Gonda Kachehri is going on, while now the process is also being taken forward in the direction of laying the fourth line. After the completion of this project, the rail connectivity between Eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will be stronger than before.
Big benefit will be available from Barabanki to Gorakhpur
Barabanki-Gorakhpur railway section is considered a very important and busy route of North Eastern Railway. A large number of passenger and goods trains operate on this route every day. Due to high pressure on the track, many times trains have to wait for signals and crossings, causing delays.
Better connectivity to Bihar and North Eastern states
The benefits of the new line will not be limited to Uttar Pradesh only. This will strengthen rail connectivity to Bihar, West Bengal and many parts of North-East India. Passengers are likely to benefit from better convenience and shorter travel time in long distance trains.
It will be easy to operate new trains on this route
Railway experts believe that with the availability of additional tracks, the possibilities of operating new express, superfast and modern trains on this route will increase. At present, it is challenging to add new trains due to busy tracks. After the construction of the fourth line, Railways will get more flexibility in operations and better options will be available to the passengers.
