Referring to his relationship with Nana Patekar, Raza Murad said that he used to visit his house in Matunga every year on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. However, this year he could not visit him, as Nana celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at his farmhouse in Pune.

Recalling the personality of Nana Patekar, Raza Murad said that as brilliant and powerful an actor as he was on screen, his personality was equally impressive in real life. Despite achieving great success, he always remained down to earth.
