According to him, rent for a 3BHK flat measuring approximately 1,700 square feet on Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram starts at 50,000 rupees per month, while in many other areas of the city, the same rent is reported to be 60,000 rupees or more.

The user further stated that most brokers who show homes offer the same advice: “Sir, increase your budget.” They say that every 5,000 rupees increase is not trivial, as it translates to an additional 60,000 rupees in annual expenses. They also said that each new flat is only a few thousand rupees more expensive than the previous one.

In the post, he also shared an annual calculation of the rising rent. According to him, if the monthly rent of a flat is ₹50,000, the annual rent alone costs ₹6 lakh (approximately $1.5 million). This does not include maintenance charges, electricity bills, and other household expenses. Adding all these expenses, the total cost of living could exceed ₹7 lakh (approximately $1.5 million).
