According to a report in the Indian Express, after the end of the England series, Rohit Sharma will not be a part of Team India’s future plans. Team India’s selectors spoke to Rohit Sharma along with head coach Gautam Gambhir last week and told about the future plan. The selection committee wants to give a chance in ODI to young players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has been trying for a long time to get into the team. This makes it clear that the selection committee is not considering including Sharma in the team for the 2027 ODI World Cup. However, after working on fitness, Rohit wanted to continue playing. Selectors want to give opportunity to youth in place of Rohit Sharma
