According to the family, Alok Singh went to his room on Tuesday evening and locked the door from inside. According to the information, when the door did not open till late on Wednesday morning, the family members broke the door and looked inside. His blood soaked body was found lying on the bed.

During this, preliminary investigation conducted by the police revealed that Alok Singh shot himself in the head with his licensed double barrel gun. At present, no suicide note has been found from the room. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and have started investigating the case. Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Vineeta, wife of Alok Singh, who was also a transport businessman, was living in Lucknow with both the daughters for the last two years.

Family members say that after the death of his son, due to family distance and stress, Alok Singh started consuming alcohol in excess. On the other hand, Hanumant Vihar police station in-charge expressed the possibility of the incident appearing to be a suicide in the preliminary investigation and said that the licensed gun of Alok Singh will be seized and the incident will be investigated.
