Bhadohi. With the aim of spreading the spirit of service, good governance, poor welfare and public participation to the people, Seva Sankalp campaign was launched on Thursday at District Chetsingh Hospital, Gyanpur with a blood donation camp and distribution of fruits to the patients. Public representatives, officials, youth and social workers participated in the program.
About 57 public representatives and youth donated blood in the blood donation camp. MLA Aurai Dinanath Bhaskar, BJP District President Deepak Mishra, District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar, Dr. Ajay Shukla and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak themselves inspired the people by donating blood. Speakers said that blood donation is a life-saving humanitarian service for needy patients. Healthy and eligible people should come forward and donate blood regularly.
During this, District Panchayat President Anirudh Tripathi, MLA Gyanpur Vipul Dubey and other public representatives were present. The youth participated enthusiastically in blood donation. Blood donors were given information about the importance of blood donation and a message was given to promote the spirit of service and philanthropy in the society.
During the program, District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar and public representatives met the patients admitted in the hospital, inquired about their well-being and distributed fruits to them. The officials also took information from the patients about the treatment and health facilities available in the hospital.
District Panchayat President Anirudh Tripathi said that instead of limiting the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan to programs only, efforts should be made to connect every section of the society with service and public participation. He expressed gratitude towards blood donors, doctors, health workers, public representatives and youth.
Under the campaign, various programs related to service, good governance, public participation and social concerns will be organized in the district for the next one month.
