The restaurant at Marina Bay Sands offers a modern take on Japanese cuisine, combining fresh ingredients from Japan with contemporary touches.
Guests enter through a 20-meter passageway lined with glowing vermillion arches inspired by Kyoto’s Fushimi Inari Shrine, which leads to an atmospheric bar.

The main dining room features a 2.5-meter Japanese bell as its centerpiece, positioned above a traditional footbridge, along with an oversized sushi bar and private mezzanine dining area.
The menu includes Japanese favorites such as sashimi, tempura, gyoza and tuna carpaccio, as well as Uni pasta.
“The stunning decor and helpful service add to the experience,” Tripadvisor wrote.
Argentina's Fogón Asado topped the list.
Vietnam’s The Rhythms Restaurant ranked third, followed by The Witchery Restaurant in the U.K. and Meat Market in Spain.
The 2026 Best of the Best Restaurants are calculated based on reviews and ratings for restaurants on Tripadvisor collected over a 12-month period, from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 as well as an editorial process.
The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title is awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community. Out of 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this, according to the travel site.
