Uttarakhand News: Youth will get employment and education opportunities in the state itself, government's emphasis on stopping migration.

Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the grand youth student dialogue program organized at a private hotel in Kashipur on Saturday. In this special event, more than fourteen hundred students from seventeen different schools registered their presence with full enthusiasm. During the program, the Chief Minister directly interacted with the students, listened to their thoughts and openly discussed the role of youth power in achieving the larger goal of a developed India. While interacting with the children, the Chief Minister appeared as a natural parent and guide.

Youth power is the strong base of developed India.

Addressing the students present in the auditorium, the Chief Minister said that a big resolution has been placed before the country to make India fully developed by the year 2047. The youth of the country are going to make the most important contribution in achieving this goal. Today's youth have a new way of thinking, an out-of-the-box approach and most importantly, a strong determination to do something new. He said that whenever he gets an opportunity to go to different areas of the state and meet students, he never misses the opportunity to interact with the youth. Recently, the government had sought suggestions from the youth of the state on their dream Uttarakhand. In these suggestions, students have put forward many practical and excellent ideas regarding the progress of the state. Knowing these thoughts further strengthens the belief that the future of Devbhoomi is in completely safe and capable hands.

Courage is necessary to make big dreams come true

Encouraging the students, the Chief Minister said that Uttarakhand may appear a small state from geographical point of view, but the dreams of the youth living here are not small at all. Today's new generation, along with dreaming, also has the courage to convert those dreams into reality. The youth of the state have that extraordinary ability that they can bring glory to their state and the entire country by reaching any big stage in the world. He told the students that in the coming time, someone will emerge from these classes to become a great scientist, someone will become a teacher and show the way to the society, someone will be a sportsperson who will raise the flag of the country and many youth will support others by starting their own new ventures and startups.

Promotion of quality education and modern science

The Chief Minister said that ever since he got the responsibility of serving the public as a Chief Servant, his only endeavor has been to ensure that no brilliant son or daughter of the state is left behind due to lack of resources. With this objective, the virtual classroom network is being continuously expanded to expand modern education in the state. To raise the standard of education in government schools, one hundred and ninety nine Atal Excellence Schools are being run in the state and the curriculum has also been made useful at the national level.

He said that financial assistance is being provided through Nanda Gaura Yojana to connect girls with higher education in the state. Apart from this, the country's fifth largest science city is being prepared in Dehradun to connect students with modern technology and new science. Scientific approach and practical knowledge is being continuously promoted among the students through modern laboratories and children's science conferences in the schools of the state.

Instead of looking for employment, become a provider of work.

The Chief Minister made a direct appeal to the youth that they should not just become job seekers but should dream of becoming job providing entrepreneurs themselves. With this thinking, innovation and startup are being promoted in the state so that the youth can be taught modern skills as per the market demand. To ensure that the youth are not forced to leave their homes and mountains for work, new industries and employment opportunities are being created at the local level. World-class sports policies have been implemented and modern sports complexes are being built for children interested in sports.

Giving the example of the life of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Chief Minister said that no matter how difficult the circumstances are, if a person has a true passion for learning, he can definitely achieve his destination. Along with this, he described the spread of drug addiction in the society as a serious evil and appealed to the students to take a pledge to get rid of drug addiction and also keep their friends away from it.

Gave candid answers to students' questions

During the dialogue, the students also asked many interesting and serious questions to the Chief Minister. On the question of a student named Shaurya, the Chief Minister said that the government is constituting a Youth Commission, which will help the youth in connecting them with employment and government services after completion of their studies. On the question of student Daksh, he said that we are creating such an Uttarakhand where no one has to go out under compulsion and farmers can get fair price for their crops near their villages.

On the question asked by student Chandra, the Chief Minister clarified that a special cell is being formed to safeguard the future of the firefighters. On student Khushi's question related to Artificial Intelligence, he said that there is no need to be afraid of technology, rather we should learn the changes of the new age and use them properly. On student Prabhjot's question on corruption, he reiterated that the government is completely strict against wrongdoing and if any irregularity is noticed, citizens can feel free to lodge a complaint on the toll free number 10-64. Many public representatives and administrative officials were also present in this program.
