In order to express gratitude towards the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 25 years of public service and to give the form of public participation to the collective resolution of 'Developed India-2047', a lamp lighting program was organized in the district today on the theme of 'Service Day-Aashirwad Ka Diya'.
In the grand program organized at DIET Complex, Robertsganj, 5100 lamps were lit simultaneously, due to which the entire complex was illuminated with the light of lamps. Through lighting of the lamp, the message of public service, development and public participation towards the resolve of a developed India was given.
In the program, District Magistrate Charcha Gaur, Chief Development Officer Jagriti Awasthi, Sadar Block Chief Ajit Rawat and respected public representatives and officials of the district celebrated the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a form of public participation and service pledge by lighting the lamp.
Beneficiaries and general public also participated enthusiastically in the program organized from 7 pm and lit 'Aashirwad ka Diya' at their respective homes. Along with this, lamps were also lit at major development works, infrastructure projects, government buildings and other important places.
Amidst the sparkling light of lamps, public representatives, officials and common people gave the message of public service, development and further strengthening the collective resolve of 'Developed India-2047'. The grand illumination of 5100 lamps at DIET Complex, Robertsganj made the entire event a center of attraction.
