A video of Sonu Nigam has been winning hearts online, where the singer’s candid interaction with the audience became a talking point on social media.
In the viral video, the 53-year-old artist can be seen playfully scolding people who arrived late to his concert, pointing out that they had turned up when the show was already coming to an end.
It is not clear whether the video is recent or from one of his older concerts, but Sonu’s witty response to the latecomers has clearly left the audience entertained.
The Deewana singer can be seen addressing those who arrived late and jokingly pointing out that they had missed almost the entire show. He said, “Ab aarahy ho bhayya, ab to show khatam hone wala hay, bal k hogaya khatam, last song hay ye.”
Making a disappointed gesture, he further said, “Had hay matlab, itne saal se India chhorra hoga, abhi tak Indian line per chal rahay ho.”
His playful remarks were met with laughter, applause and hooting from the crowd, with Sonu once again showing his trademark sense of humour while interacting with his fans.
The moment has also sparked reactions from social media users, who seemed to enjoy the singer calling out the latecomers without losing his playful tone.
One user commented, “It’s like a professor calling out his students for coming late to class.” Another wrote, “SN got no chill… rightfully so…. ICON.”
A third comment read, “Hahahahah absolutely loved his wit.”
An Instagram user also appreciated the singer’s commitment to his concerts, writing, “Sonu Nigam is never late in his concerts . Audience are late and not sonu Nigam. Each minute he utilizes in his concert with a song . Watching his concerts since 2016. Never a dull moment.”
