Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) Sagar has registered an FIR against a contractor from Damoh for getting the tender on the basis of fake experience certificate. EOW has registered an offense against Damoh district contractor Lakhan Lal Kurmi and his firm Jai Maa Ambe Construction Sitanagar.
Rohit Barolia had complained to EOW that Lakhan Prasad Kurmi was preparing fake experience certificates and tenders were being taken. Based on the complaint, EOW conducted an investigation against the company. During investigation the complaint was found to be true. Investigation revealed that the non-applicant Lakhan Prasad Kurmi prepared a fake experience certificate in the name of Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering (PHE) Block, Chhatarpur for removing the stuck pipeline of a hand pump.
Through this fake certificate, Lakhan Kurmi took two tenders of PHE department block Niwari. This is a fraud on the government. In this case, EOW has registered a crime under section 318(2), 336(2), 340(2) of BNS against accused Lakhan Lal Kurmi and firm Jai Ma Ambe Construction and taken it under investigation. Legal action will be taken if involvement of other persons is found during the investigation.
