The District Magistrate reached Salori Kachar and took stock of the rising water level.

Bureau Prayagraj. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma inspected the Salori alluvium on Wednesday in view of the flood. He directed all concerned officials to ensure that the general public should not face any problem under any circumstances. The water level of the river is below the danger mark. An alert has been issued in the areas along the river. The NDRF team is constantly on the move and monitoring the situation.

All relief camps are functional. He appealed to the people to shift to flood relief camps if the flood waters rise further. The District Magistrate has directed the Municipal Corporation in urban areas and the Panchayati Raj Department in rural areas to make arrangements for cleanliness. Along with this, instructions have also been given to spray medicines.

The District Magistrate has given instructions to ensure quality food, water, light, medicines and all other necessary arrangements in the flood relief centres. During the inspection of the District Magistrate, officers and employees related to flood and relief work were present.
