New Delhi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday once again made a big attack on BJP and RSS. Rahul Gandhi said that even today there is a fight in the country between two ideologies, the Constitution and the ideology of RSS. Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of atrocities on Dalits in the country and claimed that injustice is being done to crores of Dalits in the country even today.

This is not just an issue of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, but it is an issue related to every Dalit person of India. If our national president can be treated like this openly and without any hesitation, then imagine… what would be happening to the children in school? This is not acceptable for us. Our fight is against the ideology of BJP-RSS, which promotes discrimination and inequality.

Rahul Gandhi said that Dalits were subjected to atrocities for decades which have not ended till date. Attacking BJP, Rahul Gandhi said that Dalits have been discriminated against for decades and it is happening even today. A separate cup is kept for Dalits at the tea stall and even now in marriages Dalits are beaten for riding a horse. Dalits are made to clean schools. He said that BJP is unable to see Dalits moving forward. He said that the more successful a Dalit is, the bigger the attack is dealt.
He said that you must have seen a few days ago that on August 8, 2026, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had addressed a public meeting at Ramlila Maidan in Haldwani. Two days later, Sri Ram Sena members reportedly performed a 'purification havan' at the same place. Rahul Gandhi said that an FIR should be filed against those who carried out the purge. He stressed that the Congress President should get justice.
Rahul Gandhi said, 'Justice will be given in the case of insult to our national president Mallikarjun Kharge. If not today then tomorrow there will be an FIR in this matter. It is simply not possible for this not to happen. On the question related to BJP organization, Rahul Gandhi said that 'I have no interest in the new organization of BJP. The new organization of BJP and the old organization are the same for me. Whoever they want to bring forward, they can bring it, we don't care. Our fight is to save the ideology and the constitution.
It has been almost 80 years since India got independence, but even today Dalits are tortured in the country for touching a pot, having a moustache, touching an idol and taking out a wedding procession on a horse. Even the current President of the country was not allowed inside the temple in Delhi. Recently, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had held a meeting in Haldwani, but his platform was sanitized after the meeting was over. When Kharge ji raised this issue in Parliament, JP Nadda ji said that we do not accept this and if this happens then we will take action. But his own party leader and Uttarakhand BJP President Mahendra Bhatt justifies this incident of purification.
