Chiranjeevi Reveals the Secret
Journalist Jyoti Venkatesh claimed that superstar Chiranjeevi told her about Ram Gopal and Urmila’s secret wedding on the sets of the film Gentleman. She said, “Chiranjeevi told me, ‘Jyoti, as a journalist, you write about everything, but why haven’t you written about Ram and Urmila’s marriage yet?'” Jyothi Venkatesan says that she was surprised to hear this from Chiranjeevi and asked for proof of the marriage. Chiranjeevi then revealed that the two had married in a temple in Andhra Pradesh. The senior journalist also claimed that the actor even gave her the priest’s contact number.
Urmila Matondkar broke down in tears upon hearing about the marriage.
During the conversation, the journalist also revealed that she wanted to find out the truth from Urmila Matondkar herself before publishing the news. When she called the actress, she broke down in tears and said, “How can you write such things about me? You’ve known me since I entered the industry.” She also said that Ram Gopal Varma flatly refused to comment on the matter.
Jyoti Venkatesh also says that this is the reason why the relationship between Ram Gopal Varma and Urmila Matondkar broke down. Urmila wanted to get married legally, but Ram Gopal was not ready for it.
