Muradnagar: During checking, Muradnagar police took into custody on the information of an informer six juvenile delinquents who were preparing to commit theft at night. According to the police, gold, silver and copper wire related to the theft incidents have been recovered from their possession. Along with this, the police have also recovered the equipment used in theft. According to the police, 14.250 grams of gold, 277 grams of silver tikki, 74 grams of silver chain and 1 kg 900 grams of copper wire were found in the possession of the accused. Apart from this, plates, iron bar and Sidansi were also recovered. Police say that these devices were used in theft incidents.
Night theft revealed during interrogation
During police interrogation, the child molesters told that they used to steal at night whenever they saw the opportunity. The recovered copper wire was stolen some time ago. One child molester told about stealing a chain from a place, while two others informed about stealing jewelery from a house in Braj Vihar and keeping it hidden a few days ago. The police have registered a case under relevant sections at Muradnagar police station in the case. According to the police, a case of theft has already been registered in Muradnagar police station in relation to child molesters. Information about other criminal history is being collected.
Be alert if you see suspicious people in the neighborhood
After the police action, people also need to be alert. If any unknown person is seen roaming around a house or locality again and again, is seen monitoring the houses or suspicious activity is seen at night, then do not ignore him. In such a situation, it would be better to inform the police instead of having a dispute with someone yourself.
ACP Mussoorie Sunil Kumar said that Muradnagar police team has taken six child molesters into custody on the information of an informer during checking. Gold, silver, copper wire and equipment used in theft related to theft have been recovered from their possession. During interrogation, information regarding some previous theft incidents was also obtained. Advance legal action is being taken in the matter as per rules.
