New Delhi. Opposition MPs staged a unique protest in Parliament over the theft of offerings at the Ram Temple, a video of which has gone viral on social media. BJP leader and IT cell chief Amit Malviya has launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi and other opposition parties. He said that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress should immediately apologize to the Hindu community for this insult.

Amit Malviya wrote on social media, “Who offers offerings to Lord Shri Ram while wearing shoes? Hindus even visit their home temples only after removing their shoes. But how can Rahul Gandhi, born to a Christian mother and a Parsi father, be expected to respect Hindu beliefs? And this man wearing saffron is a Congress leader and a self-proclaimed sycophant of Rahul Gandhi.”
Who offers offerings to Lord Shri Ram while wearing shoes? Hindus even remove their shoes and slippers to see God in their home temples. But how can Rahul Gandhi, born to a Christian mother and a Parsi father, be expected to respect Hindu beliefs?

He further wrote, “On one hand, demonstrating faith by holding a picture of Lord Shri Ram in one’s hands, and on the other, making that same picture touch the ground, is extremely unfortunate and condemnable. This is an act that hurts the sentiments of millions of Ram devotees. Lord Shri Ram is not just a picture, but the center of faith and devotion for millions of Hindus. Therefore, making his picture touch the ground in this manner is an insult to the entire Hindu community. Rahul Gandhi and the Congress should immediately apologize to the Hindu community for this insult.”
Opposition MPs placed donation boxes in front of the Makar Dwar stairs of Parliament. MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, was seen wearing saffron clothing and sitting with the boxes. During the protest, an attempt was made to convey a message through drama. Other MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, placed money in the donation boxes. Meanwhile, Pappu Yadav pocketed the money, symbolizing the alleged theft of donations made for the Ram Temple.
