Trump will come to India after Modi’s visit to America! US Ambassador Gore said
The annual meeting of the G20 group of countries will be held in America in December this year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can go there. On the other hand, US President Donald Trump may visit India next year, said US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore. According to experts, the relationship between the two countries is getting stronger only after withdrawing from the strict tariff policy.
The US ambassador to India claimed that Modi has already been invited to attend the G20 summit. However, the Indian government has not yet made a statement on the matter. In addition, Gore said that Trump is not coming to India in December due to the mid-term elections in America. Rather, he may visit Delhi sometime next year. Gore said that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio invited Modi while attending the G20 summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump’s personal relationship is one of the cornerstones of the two countries’ diplomatic relations, said Gore. At a recent event in Miami, Trump told them to call Modi. At that time he was informed that it is evening in America but it is 6 am in India. Hearing that, Trump said, “He must be up. He’s like me.” Although the call was not made at that time. However, Gore claims that such comments are a reflection of Trump’s relationship with Modi. In his words, “When you are someone’s best friend, everything cannot be done according to those rules. But the President considers Modi as his friend.” He also said that Trump attaches great importance to the relationship with Modi.
It should be noted that Modi and Trump met on the sidelines of the G-7 conference organized in France. Earlier, at a lunch held in the presence of state leaders, Trump light-heartedly highlighted the differences between himself and Prime Minister Modi. Said, “Prime Minister Modi is calm, steady and very efficient and tough – but I am not like that. Look at him.” After that, Trump praised the Prime Minister in the much-awaited meeting. At the same time gave a reassurance.
