The three-course meal, being served in the East Room, will feature “American ingredients with subtle Chinese influence,” according to first lady Melania Trump’s office.
“The meal begins with a toast of Schramsberg ‘Blanc De Noir,’ honoring the historic ‘Toast to Peace’ shared by President Nixon and Premier Zhou Enlai in Beijing in 1972. The same American sparkling wine served at that historic gathering continues to be enjoyed at White House functions today,” the White House said.

It featured a first course of yellow squash velouté with wild mushrooms, fresh herbs, crispy pancetta and drizzled scallion oil, AP reported.
The main course features fresh sea bass coated in toasted sesame seeds, creating a fragrant, nutty crust while keeping the fish tender. It is served with braised baby bok choy and roasted garden eggplant, with a fresh-herb sauce verte adding acidity and brightness, according to the New York Times.
Dessert consists of vanilla crémeux with a sour cherry confit center set atop walnut frangipane. The fruit-shaped dessert is accompanied by ice cream made with honey harvested at the White House.
Beside the delegations, those in attendance included the world’s richest tech billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Michael Dell, Mark Zuckerberg and Jensen Huang.
