Settlement. If despite getting gas connection under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the beneficiaries have to visit the agency for a long time for cylinders and essential materials, then it is natural to raise questions on the system. Consumer Ashok Vishwakarma has made serious allegations regarding Masjidiya Gas Agency located in Gaur area.
According to Ashok Vishwakarma, his wife Poonam Vishwakarma has a connection with the Ujjwala scheme. He alleges that for almost four years he has been visiting the agency for gas and necessary materials related to the scheme. Sometimes the stock is not available and sometimes the material is returned saying that it will be available later.
In the conversation provided by the consumer, the agency side has said that stock is not available and the material will be delivered when the stock arrives. It is alleged that later he was advised to contact the agency owner and the matter of blocking the number also came to light.
Consumers have to make repeated rounds
Consumers allege that they have to make repeated visits to the agency for cylinders and other facilities. Many people have to face problems due to gas not being available on time. Consumers have also raised questions on the functioning of agency operator Sushil Mishra and computer operator. It is alleged that the consumers who complain are not treated properly and things like blocking the number are said.
The situation may become clear from the records
Checking of booking, delivery, payment, cash memo and stock register is considered important in the case. By matching the records of Ujjwala beneficiaries with these documents, it can become clear how gas and materials related to the scheme were distributed.
Ashok Vishwakarma has investigated the entire matter and demanded action against those responsible. He says that if the allegations are false then the situation will become clear from the records and if irregularities or harassment of consumers is confirmed then action should be taken against those responsible. At present, the detailed stand of the agency side in the matter has not come out.
