Dharampur MLA Vinod Chamoli along with MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari conducted on-site inspection of the commission market. During this, the authority team informed about the progress of the ongoing development works in the market. Presently the work of new commission market has been completed.
Expressing satisfaction over the work being done by MDDA, the MLA directed the officials to expedite the work. During the inspection, there was special discussion regarding the process of allotment of plots. MLA Vinod Chamoli directed that the process of allotment in commission market should be completed by the month of September under any circumstances. He said that there should not be unnecessary delay in the process and facilities should be provided to the concerned people in a time bound manner.
Parking fee should be fixed
Necessary guidelines were also given to the officials regarding parking arrangements in the commission market. It was asked to determine the parking fee in the market, so that the parking system can be operated in a systematic manner.
Development should be done in coordination with NHAI
During the inspection, there was also discussion regarding the traffic arrangements around the market. The MLA directed the officials to establish necessary coordination with the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). He said that the commission market and surrounding areas should be developed in such a way that traffic remains smooth and local people as well as traders can get better facilities.

MDDA Secretary Mohan Singh Barnia said that as per the instructions given during the inspection, instructions have been given to the concerned officers to take necessary action. Along with completing the allotment process by September, special attention will be given to arranging parking and traffic arrangements.
