Dispute over banana, murder of army soldier and his father
A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Vaishali district of Bihar, where a nephew snatched the lives of his uncle and army brother over a long-running land dispute. During the dispute, the Indian Army soldier brother and his father were shot dead by the nephew. After the incident, there is an atmosphere of tension in the entire area, while the police are continuously conducting raids in search of the accused.
It is being told that army soldier Jitendra Kumar had come to the village on leave after the death of one of his relatives. During this time, the old land dispute took a violent turn and within no time the matter reached the point of firing. Police has started the investigation of the matter.

1. This incident took place on Sunday in Rajso village of Bidupur police station area of Vaishali district. According to the police, the firing took place during an old dispute over land, in which the father and son lost their lives.
2. The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Indian Army soldier Jitendra Kumar and his 52-year-old father Munarik Rai. Munarik Rai died on the spot, while seriously injured Jitendra Kumar died during treatment in the hospital.
3. According to initial investigation, there was an altercation between the two parties regarding the harvesting of banana crop on the disputed land. This dispute later took a violent turn.
4. Vaishali Superintendent of Police Shubhank Mishra said, “The accused have been identified. They are relatives of the victims and the murders took place during a dispute over the harvesting of bananas on a disputed piece of land.”
5. According to local people, there was a dispute between Jitendra Kumar and Jagdish Rai on Saturday evening. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and calmed down the matter by convincing both the parties. However, the controversy flared up again the very next day.
6. Local people claim that on Sunday morning the accused again reached the spot and opened fire on Munarik Rai and Jitendra Kumar. Munarik Rai died on the spot due to bullet injury, while Jitendra Kumar was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died during treatment.
7. Police have sent both the bodies for post-mortem. After the incident, the accused and his family members fled away from the house. The police are continuously conducting raids in search of them.
