Technology Desk: Vivo has launched its new mid-range 5G smartphone Vivo Y31T 5G in the Indian market. The company has listed the phone directly on its official website instead of any big launch event. The biggest feature of this smartphone is its large 7200mAh battery.
Apart from this, the phone has features like 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon processor, 50MP dual rear camera and 44W fast charging. The smartphone has also received IP68 and IP69 ratings, making it strong in terms of dust and water protection.
6.75 inch 120Hz display
Vivo Y31T 5G has a 6.75 inch LCD display. It has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, due to which scrolling and animations can appear smoother than before. The display's peak brightness is up to 1250 nits and covers 83 percent of the NTSC color gamut. The screen has also received TÜV Rhineland Low Blue Light certification.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor
For performance, the smartphone has been provided with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset made on 4nm process. It has an octa-core CPU, with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. The phone has support for LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Apart from this, Extended RAM feature is also provided, with the help of which up to 6GB extra RAM can be used if needed.
50MP dual rear camera
Vivo Y31T 5G has dual rear camera setup for photography. It has a 50MP primary camera, with which there is a 2MP Bokeh sensor. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
7200mAh large battery
The most special features of the phone include its 7200mAh battery. Vivo has provided 44W FlashCharge fast charging support in it. According to the company's lab test, the phone can provide up to 62 hours of music playback, 32 hours of video playback, up to 10.2 hours of navigation and up to 11.4 hours of gaming on a single charge. However, actual battery backup may vary depending on network, brightness, apps, and usage patterns.
OriginOS 6 based on Android 16
Talking about software, Vivo Y31T 5G has OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. The company has also included many AI features in the phone. These include features like AI Erase, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist and AI Creation. Apart from this, AI SuperLink connectivity feature is also provided in the phone.
IP68 and IP69 ratings
Vivo Y31T 5G has got IP68 and IP69 dust water resistance rating. This means that the phone has been given better protection from dust and water. This feature may be special for those users who use the phone in different weather and conditions.
