Lucknow. The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp across the country. In the capital Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the flag at his official residence and extended hearty congratulations and good wishes to the people of the state on Independence Day.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that as a result of long struggle, renunciation and sacrifice in the year 1947, the country got independence. This day is not an opportunity to be limited to just one function, but also provides inspiration to discharge one's duties sincerely as a citizen.
He said, in the last 9 years, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh has taken many important steps towards eliminating inequality, backwardness, poverty and illiteracy. Today the positive results of these efforts are in front of all of us. Uttar Pradesh is not only changing today, but is also playing an important role in deciding the direction of development and change of the country.

Also said, Uttar Pradesh has come out of the image of 'Udrav Pradesh' and has created its new identity as 'Utsav Pradesh'. In the last 9 years, the state has succeeded in increasing its budget, economy, per capita income and female workforce participation almost three times. The Chief Minister said, we are creating an Uttar Pradesh where there will be technology of the future along with rich heritage; Along with cultural pride, the pace of modernity will also be visible. The roots of traditions will become stronger and the wings of development will be seen touching new heights.
The Chief Minister said, the biggest strength of Uttar Pradesh is our youth power. Our youth are talented, hardworking and full of willpower to do something for the country and society. On this occasion of Independence Day, I want to tell the youth of the state that the strength of Uttar Pradesh lies in your talent.
