‘We are poor, what is there in a vegetable worth Rs 50’, when the child asked sharp questions to the DM

A fearless video of a 13-year-old child has surfaced from Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh. While good people give up their sweat while talking to the officials, the child’s questions stopped the officials from talking. Instead of answering, the officers just laughed at the child’s question. Now it remains to be seen whether the Lakhimpur Kheri administration, which laughs at the child’s serious question, takes any action on his complaint or not. But this outspoken style of the child is being praised a lot on social media.

According to media reports, a 13-year-old child had reached alone on Tehsil Day with a complaint of illegal occupation of his house. The child expressed his views boldly in front of the DM of Lakhimpur Kheri district. His presence of mind surprised everyone. When DM Saheb advised him to study, the child said – Who will bear the expenses? DM Saheb argued that education is free, then the child asked where the copy-books would come from. The District Magistrate further said that copy-books are also free. On this the child asked- What will happen after 9th? Then DM Saheb said that your mother works. She will teach. All the officials sitting in the auditorium laughed at the child’s next answer, but could not think that the child had exposed the biggest truth of this era of inflation. He said, Sir, what is there to buy for Rs 3000 these days? Brought copy-book… what to do?
